As the legend goes, Tim Berners-Lee, an employee at a world
class
European particle physics laboratory called CERN,
invented world wide web originally for the team of physicists
working
there. Paul Sanghera was a member of that team of physicists.
-
Paul was one of two physicists at CERN experiments who devised a
state-of-the-art
technique to determine the strength of the nuclear force from the
experimental
data.
-
At CERN, Paul tested various features of the quantum theory of the
nuclear
force.
-
Later, he initiated and led the studies of the nuclear force at the
Wilson
Laboratory of Nuclear Studies at Cornell University.
-
Paul authored and co-authored more than 150 research papers published
in
the European and American research journals.
-
Paul presented talks upon invitation at seven national and
international
physics conferences held in United States, Canada, and France.
-
Paul has lectured in physics at Simon Fraser University, and Carleton
University.
